Have to start by remembering the date. Last year we were at Mt. Rushmore, remember that Margy?
Stopped in Camden for some great shopping, small town with great little shops but bigger things waited. We were off to Freeport, Maine to the LLBean store. Got there around noon..it was like walking into a life size catolog. Shopped around, even did some shopping for Homeschooler Donovan. Apparently she needed a new rain jacket for our up coming mointain trip.
Left Freeport and went to Portlan Maine where Maines oldest Light house is. The lighthouse had one of those huge Amerian flags flying at half mast reminded me of the date.
Leaving Portland we deceide since we were only 7 hours from home, we would make a run for it. With several stops we got home around 2 AM, Oscar was happy to see us and it is nice to be home.
